Following the successful launch of our SHARP Cell Metabolome Assay (SHARP-CMA), which provides high-quality metabolome analysis for researchers working with limited cell numbers, SHARP-SMA now expands our product line to include serum/plasma-based metabolomics. This addition strengthens our SHARP platform, offering researchers even greater flexibility in their metabolomics studies.

This cutting-edge service harnesses LC-MS technology for high-sensitivity metabolome profiling with minimal sample input. Powered by the Thermo Scientific Vanquish NEO LC and Orbitrap Exploris 240 Mass Spectrometer, it enables comprehensive metabolite profiling from small serum/plasma volumes. Despite the low sample size, the platform ensures enhanced peak pair detection and high-confidence metabolite identification across multiple submetabolome channels, including amine/phenol, carboxyl, hydroxyl, and carbonyl.

Blood samples are valuable yet often limited, making every drop precious. This can be due to factors like invasiveness of the collection process, the need for specific patient conditions like fasting, or difficulties drawing blood from patients with difficult veins. In pediatric, geriatric, or critically ill populations, these challenges are even more pronounced. SHARP-BMA is an ideal solution when sample volume is limited. With high sensitivity and robust performance, it enhances metabolomics analysis, providing precise quantification for blood-based studies and enabling deeper insights in biomarker discovery, clinical research, and precision medicine.
